The Yorkville Library is the oldest library in the city. It was built in 1907 and is one of the Carnegie libraries being built with a grant from Andrew Carnegie as one of the many libraries he funded all over the world.

Such a beautiful building. It's how a library should look.
Good for Andrew Carmegie. He put his fortune to work for the good of all people by building libraries. There is a Carnegie library in my home town, but the building is now a cultural center.
Thats a serious entrance
Looks beautiful! Take care, enjoy your day!
...Carnegie built classy libraries!
What a beautiful looking building. The entrance is stunning.
A beautiful building.
It’s fascinating to learn about the Yorkville Library’s rich history and its connection to Andrew Carnegie’s remarkable legacy of supporting public libraries worldwide.
He must be responsible for something here too, as his name is known.
Impressive structure!
To books! I sadly cannot visit our library. Second floor, stairs of glass. Afraid of heights... So... Kindle or amazon....
beautiful building.
