Pub On Bloor St

I had shown a shot of the patio of Paupers Pub back in the winter and thought that I should show you the front of this fine old building which at one time had been a bank. Paupers has been there for many years now and even has a great deck up on the roof.

s.c. is right, and I like the idea of the roof-deck. If someone would invent beaming I´d like to have a drink with you there, RedPat!

This pub has a funny name, but it looks like a good place to stop for a drink in a pleasant atmosphere.

It must be successful to have a sidewalk patio and a rooftop deck.

That's a fine looking pub and building. I would be up on the roof if I was there.

What a charming transformation from bank to beloved pub, it’s always lovely to see historic buildings given new life while keeping their character intact

Formerly a bank! That is exactly what I thought at first glance before seeing the sign and reading your text. I guess they call this adaptive re-use.
