Lobster Traps

I took this shot at the harbour in North Rustico PEI, a small village on the north shore of the island well known for its lobster fishing industry.  It is a very active fishing port with lobster being the main catch in June & July and then deep-sea fishing for the rest of the summer. It is also one of the most popular tourist areas in PEI with super sea-food dinners and wonderful walks available.

This is the kind of place I love to visit (I've checked the website)!
Poor lobsters, but they are so tasty... ;-)

This is such a terrific shot. I love repetition like this, and you caught it not only in the lobster pots, but the roof lines as well. NICE JOB!

The word here is "iconic." Nice shot. Those are still the old-time lobster pots. I have seen pictures of a new kind, not being used here.

I always laugh at your King of Reflections line . . .

These lobster traps look like ancient chinese bamboo books. All compiled up and stacked up.

Interesting photo.

Darn, now you've got me hankering for lobster, corn on the cob, and a beer.

This photo takes me back to my childhood. Now I can smell the salty air and hear the foghorn. :))
