Spring?

I took this pic of Winter Aconite on Sunday in my mother's garden when it was +15˚C and sunny. This is always one of the earliest flowers to bloom, even before the Snowdrops, and I'm hoping it means that winter is over although it is supposed to cool off a lot this week. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Pretty little blooms. I'm two hours west of you and it's snowing lightly this morning.

I'm always amazed when your part of the country gets Spring so early. You have all those wild and wicked winters, whereas here we just have a bit of snow and cold cold cold until mid-May, and then we have hot-hot-hot. In southern Alberta, the May 24 weekend is called "planting weekend"! I don't know what they do from Edmonton northward.

I am not familiar with this flower. Looks good, though.

'Tis a sure sign that changes are in the wind. I remember living in such a climate and how disappointed I was, when after very nice warm spring weather, it turned cold again. I wish for you nothing but warm days ahead!

We had a light dusting at my house last night. And there is still plenty of snow on the ground. But I have seen some green parts peeking out. :)

I've never seen this lovely little flower before! I do hope it means your spring will be arriving soon!
