Church Carving

I love the carvings to be found on the older buildings around town and these ones are in such good shape that it is hard to believe they are over 100 years old. They are to be found on a church which has been converted into lofts and has had its exterior beautifully restored. And apparently this loft can be yours for just over $3.5 million!

I love this kind of brick work but, alas, the price is a tad too high. Well, okay, it's a lot too high.

$3.5 million? Well, if that's all it costs, sign me up for two of the lofts! Sheesh!

This is quite beautiful and I'll bet those lofts are also quite beautiful.

Read this morning that the mayor of Toronto was caught smoking crack! Is that true?

Beautiful detail, Pat!

@Lowell: that's the story coming out. The latest in the long string of disasters that nitwit has brought on himself.

So glad they kept the original, that is a very, very unusual combination of elements.

Wonderful details but a bit steep for my budget.

If you are going to brick up a window, then is a beautiful design :)

Beautiful brickwork, little on the expensive side though!

Toronto has many buildings like this with carvings in the the stone or brickwork. Most people don't notice it unless they have sharp eyes like yours Pat.

Imagine walking into this fabulous building after a hard day at work Pat, through the arch..nice! In my dreams, that price tag is out of this world :)
