New Mural C

I'm continuing with a couple of days of shots from the mural I first showed you last Monday as part of Monday Murals. This is a very old railway underpass so the walkway is not very tall therefore forcing the artist, Elicser, to really take that into account. I like how he has incorporated the light as a shining sun in this section.

Very clever work.

It's not happy work, is it? The faces are sad and dour. I wonder what the message is all about?

So much color. I see the faces as pensive and reflective (but then I have that expression a lot).

Happy Monday!

He's doing a good job, be interesting to see it in the dark with the sun(light) shining too!

This has been a fun mural, glad you are doing it in parts. Wonder if someone else, or the muralist painted Joy on the light.

Clever use of the half-head and the shotgun houses. This one is so much fun. I was in downtown LA yesterday, and a certain portion has become mural capital of the south west. I thought of you.

Very solemn figure on the right, I think....

The artist did a pretty good job of dealing with the low height of the walls.

An accomplished composition. The subjects seem so sad. As are the eyes in the Mural D self-portrait. Interesting expressionist coloring on the faces. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
