Liverpool Reflections

I've had little chance to get out and about here in Toronto since I came back from holidays, so yet another pic from England. This one was taken by the Albert Dock in Liverpool and I loved the contrast of the modern buildings with the older ones around them. I was unable to determine what they are used for and it started to rain just after I took the pic so I didn't go over to explore!
Taking part in Weekend Reflection. Click here for more reflections.

Oh yes, the contrast is wonderful and those modern buildings are interesting. Great reflection.

The boat called "bar" is so strange and so red in this peaceful set... Lovely composition indeed.

I always love the combination of old and new architecture - one of the things I like best about living in Boston! This is a great shot - such glassy water. I also love the gray day, with the accent of the red boat!

Don't apologize Pat, it's always good to see your shots wherever you may be in the world! Excellent reflections here, gosh the red boad stands right out there.

my first thought was "squares". Strange place. looks so clean and without any features except straight lines. Only the ship differ.

Fine reflection photo. That red ship sure stands out. The water is mirror flat for a perfect reflection.
I've followed your photos for a long time, and always enjoyed your work. Thanks for joining my blog.

That red boat with its reflection is a great contrast to those less colourful buildings.

The reflections are a winner here; the grey sky sadly looks very English!
