Lilies With A Castle

It's been a while since I showed a pic of Casa Loma and I though it looked quite lovely with the lilies growing in front of its stone wall. Casa Loma is one of the top tourist attractions in Toronto but I have never been inside it - I will have to venture in one day!

So near and yet so far. :-)

Brings back old times; we lived right around the corner one year, on Castleview. Walked past it every day.

Is it in the 'valley' too? Nice scenic.

the lilies help soften the castle a bit. :)

I've enjoyed all of your photos of this place and this shot is especially nice...the colors all mesh very well. Yes, I think you ought to give us a tour of the interior - when you get a chance... :)

There seems to be a comic face in that tower. Not sure it was intended. Interesting photo.

As a local, I am ashamed to say I have one been there twice in my lifetime.

I finally visited before I left. It's definitely worth it, but go in the off season. And take the guided tour if they offer it. :)
