Flocking Together
Starlings seem to be quite social birds at this time of year and it isn't unusual to see and hear hundreds of them in a tree or on a billboard or as in this case on the tower for mobile phone services. There seemed to be more arriving all the time as I walked by this place. Getting ready to head south, I presume!

Maybe they're surveying the area, trying to decide which way to travel next. ;)
They are probably discussing their destinations. "I'm headed to Florida. Not me, I'm going to Texas. You should really try Georgia for a change."

Ah. Llandudno was much, much faster than I am... Hitchcock is the first thing that sprang to mind!
They do the same here but I've ssen them around in winter.

I do not like these birds Pat. Bejar, came to the park, thousands of them every night. They placed all very dirty and smelly. They had to throw them out, thankfully, has not returned.

Starlings are darlings. Sometimes, they look like huge black clouds in the sky. Great light in this photo!
