The parkette on Dundas St where the little yellow birds mural of last week is located has been surrounded by murals by various artists, all commissioned by the city. This one by artist Jeff Blackburn is on this funny shaped building which runs down a hill but he has done a great job of keeping the perspective correct of this friendly raccoon. It's nice that it is playing with a toy as do all the kids in the playground where it is located. I'll show you another piece from Blackburn's raccoon series tomorrow with not quite as friendly a beast.

OOPS! I forgot to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!
Oh, it's a toy!! Whew! For a moment there I thought it was a monster raccoon attacking a local vendor. :-)
He's done a great job here, fills the space magically!
Ya, unless he's wreaking havoc on your trashcans.
Very cute! I like it.

Definitely a cute little rascal--not at all scary to kids. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
nice mural ;)
So cute :-)
Nice mural.
It appears he's afraid you're gonna take his little car. That's the way raccoons are. Or so I've heard. They can "drive" you nuts!
This could be scary if you came upon it unbeknownst in the night! :)
Speaking of critters. We had a possum on our deck yesterday. Never seen one around here.
What a wonderful happy little guy he is
This is so cool! I love it. Also like the next one.
I like his raccoons.
