Garden Gate

I found this lovely gate in the Annex neighbourhood at the entrance to a lovely back garden. I didn't notice until I put the pic up on my computer that there was a person in a blue robe standing on the back porch watching me. I hope they didn't mind having their gate shot!

I bet the owner was flattered!

I agree with EG, I'm sure they were flattered that you wanted to photograph their gate and gorgeous green yard.

Lovely gate, and a beautiful garden beyond.

Such a pretty scene behind the gorgeous gate Pat, the mysterious blue robed figure is probably quite used to it.

Beautiful gate -- the owner should have and probably was proud that you wanted to get a pic.

The person adds to the charm of the fence/gate. I bet people get use to others photographing things like that.

Oooops! Makes for a good story having the owner in the shot. I really like wrought iron fences and gates. This is a nice example.

Nice gate. I think you should go back and tell them to mow the lawn and roll the hose up, though.

Nicely done. The photo is so well-composed and interesting. I'd guess, however, that this guy is probably a mafia don and you've probably given him a week of sleepless nights - I can see him now, laying in bed with eyes wide open wondering who is out to get him.

Or not. :)
