These panels are the entrance into a jazz club in Kensington Market and there has always been a mural of some kind painted on them. This is a particularly nice one of Miles Davis and the previous mural had been an image of one of Miles's hands. I have no idea who the artist is. Early on Sundays the space serves as a background for a mini gallery of a local artist.

Excellent mural Pat, made me smile to see the artist here thinks all his subjects need glasses.. Mona Lisa wearing specs made me smile :)
And I noticed that the artist himself (guy in the t-shirt?) is wearing glasses, too. :-)
I have seen this mural in Kensington. Great work. Also a great jazz place.
What a brilliant Mural
That is a wonderful mural. Very well done.
perfect backdrop!
Great souvenir. It was a great jazz trumpeter ;)
Fabulous art work!
Seems like a good spot for artists to show off their artwork.
The mural is great, and I like how lively and colourful it is!
My favourite Mona Lisa
Coffee, bagels and art on a Sunday morning... and SUN. That's a pretty combo.
Love it!
There was a nice painting of Miles Davis in Soho that I always wanted to photograph, now I don't know if it is gone or if I couldn't find the place... :(
That is a fine mural. Always liked Miles music, but thought people didn't listen to him much any more.
Nice mural! That artist has some interesting looking pieces.
Stuff like this is GREAT! Tom The Backroads Traveller
Quite well done. There are a couple of places here with murals of renowned musicians that I'd like to photograph.
Agreed, RedPat. It is nicely painted. Did you go in?
That is too cool.
Wonderfully done!
Cool that you know this "secret" spot. ;-)
Fab. Would like to go there Pat!
It's good to see that Miles is still revered. Excellent portrait. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
