Still Kicking After All These Years

This is the Brunswick House, one of the oldest pubs in the city having opened in 1876 on Bloor St in the Annex, just a few blocks from U of Toronto. The whole building was renovated and restored several years ago and it is extremely popular with the student population around it.

Bars close to colleges always seem to live long and sometimes prosperous.

I was just saying on another pub post that I wouldn't mind having a drink right now but I can't do a pub round on a Wednesday night! :-) Lovely old place!

It looks much nicer now than when I used to wander through the doors back in the 70s!

Been there, what feels like several centuries ago! I think it was 1972 when I drank far too much Brunswick beer!
