This Victorian building on Spadina Rd in the Annex neighbourhood houses the Alliance Francaise which is both a cultural centre and French language school that has been in this location since 1987. The building has classrooms as well as a gallery, and a new theatre that has been recently added (towards the right in this pic). I will show you a pic of the theatre addition tomorrow.

I love all the nooks and crannies that this building has!
It has a fine shape to it. I bet there are lots of secret places among the floors.
Bah... je savais pas que l'Alliance Française était la ! Quel beau bâtiment. Ça m’intéresse de voir le théâtre.
One more reason to like this beautiful building!

I wish I had learned to speak French when I was young.

Nice looking building.
Elegant building and sign to match.
I'm glad the alliance française isn't in a modern, huge building! This is lovely!
Un buen centro. Esperamos ;))

The "AF" on the front window must stand for Alliance Francaise. Fine looking building.

I do like this.
Neat font they use for their logo.
I like the font, too. Nice brick building, too.
This is another fine old building that is having modern architecture press it on all sides.
How interesting! I would enjoy exploring inside that one.
I like the font on the window.

Greetings.
Interesting architecture, I like the colour too.
I like how the building style seems to make the most of the street corner position. A fascinating piece of architecture.
That's a lovely building. The 'signage' is very minimal but effective.
I like the architecture. It has so much more charm than most building built today.
Perfect for Alliance Francais Pat, I think ours is in a slightly more modern building but a lovely older area.
