French Cultural Centre

This Victorian building on Spadina Rd in the Annex neighbourhood houses the Alliance Francaise which is both a cultural centre and French language school that has been in this location since 1987. The building has classrooms as well as a gallery, and a new theatre that has been recently added (towards the right in this pic). I will show you a pic of the theatre addition tomorrow.

It has a fine shape to it. I bet there are lots of secret places among the floors.

I'm glad the alliance française isn't in a modern, huge building! This is lovely!

The "AF" on the front window must stand for Alliance Francaise. Fine looking building.

This is another fine old building that is having modern architecture press it on all sides.

I like how the building style seems to make the most of the street corner position. A fascinating piece of architecture.

That's a lovely building. The 'signage' is very minimal but effective.

I like the architecture. It has so much more charm than most building built today.

Perfect for Alliance Francais Pat, I think ours is in a slightly more modern building but a lovely older area.
