Inside The Bookstore
This is the University of Toronto Bookstore located inside of yesterday's building. I was trying to show a bit of the details that have been retained from its days as Toronto's central library. This section holds the textbooks for the Medical School students. I'll show you a bit more detail tomorrow.

What a great space!
In Europe university libraries are also very spacious
This is a place I am going to like more and more...
i like the high archways.
The sign is unmistakable :)
Fabulous high and ornate ceiling and wonderful arches. It's very library-like.
This building is even more impressive on the inside. Great shot.
What a clever arch design too. I just love going to bookstores, any and all. Not just for the books, although they are the main attraction, but I'm a building, and interior design person too!
See! There's even a cashier. This must be a bank. :-)
Great ceilings!
Especially nice looking up towards the ceiling!
Really great ceiling, and well carved pillars.
Ah!!! I knew I'd love it!
Beautiful arches!
It's magnificent...lots of light, too. It's got to a sturdy place for those medical textbooks are very heavy! :)
What a wonderful light room, perfect for a library
Beautiful! I love the arches.
Beautiful building.
Really high ceilings in a beautiful building.
Bookshops are very dangerous places for my wallet.
Equally as grand on the inside!
