Mystery Bike Ring

This bike ring from Bloor St W is a mystery to me. It rather looks like there are 2 UFOs with a bike joining them but I'm not sure. This is another of the bike rings designed by the students from Bloor Collegiate.

Looks like something someone might doodle on a notepad while listening to a boring speaker!

I like Lea's comment. It does sort of look like a doodle.

Part of the second act of War Of The Worlds. All it's missing is Tom Cruise running away.

Nothing like a bike to join two UFOs. This ring might keep a bike from being spirited away.

I can see four legged emus holding up the bike!!!
Honestly, I haven't taken anything stronger than tea today!

I do agree seeing the two UFO's but also it reminds me of a scooter or tricycle in there as well! Quite an interesting mystery!

They do resemble UFOs connected by some crazy bicyclist.

I can see the UFOs, but I also see a couple of birds!

It's a beautiful piece of modern art that reflects the joy of bike riding...the essence of a bike is there as well as a rider, wheels and spokes and it gives the impression of movement. I like it a lot!

Interesting, for sure!

It was installed upside down. Turn it over and you can clearly see a face with long eyelashes and a smirk of a smile.

That was my first impression, too.
