This band was playing for the vets at the Vets Centre at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. There is a lot of grey hair visible but the average age of the vets themselves is 93 so these guys look very young in comparison!
I've often noted the numerous resources we have in our retirement communities...and many of these people play almost as skillfully as they did in their prime. It is very nice when others give of themselves to brighten the lives of others.
That is an amazingly old average age. It will not be many years before there are no Vets at the Vets Center. So glad they are being honored with live music. Happy Memorial Day.

What a wonderful gift to the veterans. Music feeds the soul no matter how old you are. Nice photo of the musicians.
