Celebration

On Canada Day which is July 1, we will be celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Confederation of Canada which the government has been promoting as Canada 150. Everyone seems to be getting in on the celebration - even the cat on this package of toilet tissue!

I love felines wearing cones and blowing noise-makers. My felines don't. I got scratched pretty bad when I held up your post and said "Now, this is what we're gonna do." But after a visit to the emergency room, I'm OK again.

Nah, just kitting. I'm so happy for you and for Canada and I hope the nation stays as cool as it is (I'm not talking about the temperature) for many more years. It's important because you are a beacon of hope. We figure if you can figure out to have a decent country that takes care of all its citizens, we ought to be able to do the same.

Oh, c'mon. White fuzzy cats?

We've been in both Toronto and Montreal on Canada Day and had a great time.

Nice commemorative packaging; hope it's not going to be collectible in mint condition.
