Rainbow Tunnel

The sidewalk on the street of yesterday's post goes through a tunnel behind the wall showing the mural. I bet it was a dreary place until being painted in stripes of colours matching the mural but now it is rather fun to walk through it.

I agree. And I think it would have been scary to walk through there at night. I wonder who painted it, as that would take a lot of effort to stay within the lines! It's a nice touch, though, and maybe whoever did this could do other tunnels, too?

Oh we have a rainbow tunnel too! After crossing the Golden Gate Bridge into Marin county, one drives through the Robin Williams tunnel which has a rainbow entrance. GLAD TO BE BACK, PAT!

This is lovely. So many tunnels are just dingy grey concrete that look dodgy to walk through, but this says welcome :-)
