Growing In Parkdale

This is the other side of the utility box that I showed you yesterday. Here the greenery seems to be growing from the hands to cover the box. I really like this one!

Utterly charming in every way! And the colors are perfection!

I like it even more now. It's like the hands of mother nature, urging the plants to grow.

This is one of the best murals I have seen on a utility box. Great find.

...spring has sprung.

I know it would break the symmetry but one hand should be on the latch like it was going to open the box.

So pretty, I love seeing it. Makes everything look better too.

I like this. Utility boxes are pretty bland, so beautifying them is a good thing.

Hi Pat! This is in response to your question about Hobby Lobby. Hobby Lobby is owned by a fundamentalist Christian family from Oklahoma. In fact, if you walk into our Ocala store you are confronted by a book regaling readers as to their need to be "saved."

Hobby Lobby is anti LBGT, abortion, contraception, etc., and thinks some parts of Old Testament Law should be the foundation for U.S. law.

They close on Sunday so employees can go to church with their families. They are also anti-Semitic, and in some stores, at least, they refused to carry Jewish items like menorahs.

Their stores are a huge contributors to the Chinese economy as they are filled with junk mostly made in China.
