A View From Grange Park

This sculpture, "Large Two Forms" by Henry Moore, sat out in front of the AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario) for many years before being moved to Grange Park which abuts the gallery to the rear. Here the sculpture has a fine location with the wonderful blue Frank Gehry designed AGO addition as a backdrop. And this is another view that looks better in the winter with the tracery of the trees visible against the gallery.

I have always liked Moore's sculptures, but have never seen this one. The AGO is an impressive looking building.

Gehry caught my eye first, great architecture, the sculpture is impressive-massive, too.

Blue is my favorite color, and the sculpture looks like dinosaur bones!

I like Moore sculptures. They have held up well with time and changing tastes.
