Strong Women

Another item in the display about WWI nurses at the Veterans Centre is this framed cover from a French magazine dated August 28 1915. The imagery is so striking don't you think?

Nursing came into its own during WW I. What a great poster. I have enjoyed seeing this series of photos.

An interesting display depicting the horrors of war. The nurses played a very important role during those terrible times.

Nurses certainly faced the perils of that war.

Very clean, dramatic graphics. Despite its subject it seems very fresh.
