Lily

It is the season for Day Lilies and there are some real beauties around. I spotted these yellow ones growing along the side of the stairs leading up to Casa Loma. The next day they were gone but there are more buds still to open.

Beautiful blooms. I've seen these growing in several places here but only in the winter.

Our day lily season is mostly past, but I am still seeing the orange ones, which are often volunteers that were not planted,.
