Casa In the Late Afternoon

I passed by Casa Loma in the late afternoon and was pleased to see that all the construction that had been going on near the entrance has been finished. I guess they took advantage of the lockdowns to do needed maintenance. It is again open and the tourists have returned.

The afternoon sunlight shows the best of Casa's architecture.

And, with them, the Covid.

Beautiful and great to see progress.

It's still funny that hodgepodge of historicizing styles in a building from the last century. But it certainly gives it prestige.

I had to look it up online to find out what on earth it was! Amazing what can be done when wealthy men get an idea in their heads. I'm glad that a use could be found for it when the original owner could no longer afford the upkeep and taxes.
