A Walkway

What was a simple and boring walkway leading to Bloor St from Cumberland Ave was given a huge change by the installation of these metal structures. They give the feel of an awning while actually doing nothing to protect walkers.

It is photogenic.

Well, it is not boring anymore!
Though to be honest, it looks like something slid off the roof and got stuck between the buildings before it reached the ground.
But I am an old-fashioned person who doesn't understand a thing about modern art.
Hope you are having a good week!

They are odd and unusual, but somehow providing human scale to this walkway.
