Sleepy Time


I don't think I have ever seen a duck with its head tucked under a wing as far as this one has. She was really tired so her mate was keeping watch for her.

The robin is the first bird to arrive for breakfast. I agree that ordinary birds are always nice to see, and this pair of Mallards are a delightful couple. I never tire of seeing them, but I have also never seen this nap position. Nicely captured image!
