A rare pleasant day called for a walk so I headed out for a bit. Walking along Bloor St W at Spadina I spotted these metal leaves attached to the grates over a ventilation shaft for the subway. I loved that someone thought of this and how it changed the whole atmosphere of the area from boring to something special. I couldn't find an artist signature.

I think it is stupendous that someone would do that.
That really is a wonderful way to make those grates attractive.

That's unusual.

I really like this, the leaves change the grate from boring into interesting.
Wow, that is really nice and creative.
Love this.
Great idea!
How fine with all the different kinds of leaves. Great find. It took me a minute to realize the leaves were metal.
Excellent work by some authority.
Love it!
How lovely.
Oh, RedPat, I am not so sure. Looks like constant Autumn to me - why not something summery? But I agree, something is better than nothing!
Fantastic idea beautifully executed.
