The Robins are back from their winter holidays in the south. I have been seeing large flocks of them in a local park but caught this pic in the Annex neighbourhood. This Robin looks a bit bedraggled but he was finding lots to eat in this lawn so will soon be fit again. My regular Robin who visits my birdbath on the deck has been back and bathing on days when it hasn't been raining.

The red, red robin came bop, bob, bopping along.
How wonderful to see the Robins return! It's always a sign of spring when these cheerful birds come back. I love how you've captured such a real moment, even with the Robin looking a little bedraggled. It’s nice to know it’s finding plenty to eat and will soon be looking its best again. The regulars, like the one in your birdbath, really add that special touch to the season.
I’ve just shared a new post over at www.melodyjacob.com and would love for you to check it out when you have a chance. Wishing you a wonderful weekend filled with more beautiful sightings.
Great photo of the Robin. I love seeing them and hearing their song. Thank you for linking up and sharing your critter post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
I haven't seen any yet, but imagine they are around.
They are back here too, but I tink their peckings are leaner.
That is a good sign I'd say!
I'm so glad you are seeing them now. We saw them in December and January here in Florida! And now they are visiting you. Nature is amazing, isn't it!
They're are tour here, very busy birds. Spring brings them out like clockwork.
Wait! How did he/she/they get across the border without a passport? :-)
I suspect your spring in ahead of ours, but our Robins are also here for the summer. I've seem large flocks of them in the parks.
...they always signal the arrival of spring, what a treat they are.
It looks quite daring staying on the ground
They look so friendly and cute.
Good news.
What a beauty.
It is so lovely bird!
