A Bit Of Red
I finally saw a bit of colour in a tree last week when looking at this apple tree in someone's back garden. The colour change has been slow this year but I have seen a bit more since this shot. This one looks like it might be a vine growing on the tree that has turned red rather than the tree itself.

I love the splash of color. I have a friend in Illinois and she said the trees haven't turned there yet either.
Our yellows have changed, but the reds are slow.
Ottawa and Toronto are so close yet in different climate zones. We are close to done.

It's a bright red. I don't remember apple trees having much red colouring.
