I think that every street in San Miguel De Allende is built on an incline as you can see in this shot. Some of them are really steep so get you get a lot of exercise. It is good that there are a lot of cafes and restaurants to sit at for a break. Those pipes sticking out horizontally near the top of the buildings are for draining the water used to refresh the plants on the roof decks which seem to be on most buildings. In the morning you have to keep your eyes open for the runoff. The woman on the right sidewalk is washing down the sidewalk which everyone does each morning outside of their place.

I like that view.
It's cool to see other cultures and climes.

San Miguel is a gorgeous town.
Wow! What a magnificent view.
I'm liking the look of this street especially the orange? coloured buildings on the left. Have a great weekend.
Dodging morning runoff -- sounds like fun.
What a lovely street, and you've painted a lovely picture of the street goings on.
San Miguel de Allende really does look like a workout city! Those steep streets must keep you on your toes. I love the detail about the roof plants and runoff, such a practical little system. Te morning sidewalk washings is a charming daily rhythm. Did you try one of the cafes after your walk?
San Miguel de Allende turns every stroll into a workout, with steep streets, rooftop gardens, and lively sidewalks that make even the simplest morning routine a part of the rhythm of the city.
