There are murals all over San Miguel De Allende and this is one I discovered on my first afternoon there. This beautiful face would be a fine welcome home each day. The artist is Erick Mota.

Reminds me of our old custom of the 'green man', who can be found carved in churches and other places. He symbolises rebirth and is a fitting tribute to spring.

It is good for a business to have the decorated door, but I wouldn't want it for home.
