Annex Whimsy

I can't leave this little tour of the Annex without showing at least one of the turrets which the area is known for and so here is one of my favourites. I go by here often hoping that there will be no car but it is always there! These porches looks so whimsical with their little round areas at the front - like a wishing well. Another great place to sit out!

A big house with turrets, it looks a movie location! ;-)

I love the turrets too, How annoying that the car is always there. :) Not to worry, though. We can still see the turret.

That would be a wonderful place to sit with a cup of tea , coffee or a glass of wine.

There are some fabulous houses in this area. I like the quirky turrets - looks like you could play out a romantic Romeo and Juliet balcony scene there.

These houses are terrific. You are coaxing me into going on an architectural shooting tour, too.

I've always wanted a house with turrets. I have an idea it might not happen, however.
So I'm very glad I have your photos to enjoy.

Reminds me of some of the houses in the older part of Kingston, where I grew up, mostly. I've always thought these turrets would be a great place for a reading room.

It's definitely a beauty Red, also the windows on the front of the house, the small round and rest arched, someone had fun designing this one!

I like this one best of your Annex series. I always wanted to live in a house with a turret. :)

I've always wanted to live in one of these houses. I could probably only afford a room + kitchen, though!
