Lego Conquers Toronto

I think this Lego float would be fun to ride on and you can see one of the little stools, just in front of the queen, that a child will sit on (with seat belt) and wave to the crowd as the parade proceeds throughout downtown. Most, if not all, of the floats in the Santa Claus parade have groups of children who ride along on them.

All parade must have a queen! ;-)

Must be Margrethe II, although there are no sign of a cigarette here.

Cool. Lego's US headquarters is in Connecticut. I read recently that there are adult professional Lego sculpture makers.

Instantly recognisable the world over, I think.

I used to love my legos. Wonder what happened to them? That is such an attractive float! The kids must have a ball with this parade.

Lego was one of my favourite toys as a child - much more loved than dolls! I watched parts of the parade on TV while making dinner last night.

Cute indeed, but I would have been really impressed if they'd used actual Lego pieces! :)

Great Lego pieces! A Christnas parade in November though?- it's so early, although the Christmas Markets here in Manchester opened last week. UIt's the same the western world over I daresay.

I bet the chosen kids are excited to ride on the floats.
