Library Guardian

This noble creature is found by the main entrance to the Lillian H Smith Library on College St and does a fine job guarding this place of knowledge. This library is part of the Toronto Public Library system and it is known for containing an extensive collection of children's books as well a collection of science fiction. I think he is a Lion Griffin.

I'd go for the noble lion, and stay for the children's books.

I have really have been treading on your territory so much recently that I have a photo of the same entrance. My photo includes both winged lions. I like your closeup... it's excellent.
