Favourite House In Winter

I showed this house in the summer of 2010, here, and since it has always been one of my favourites in the city I thought I would show it as it looked last week in the snow. Built in 1913 for the Dinwoody family, it is a wonderful example of the Arts & Crafts movement of design. If you go to the link, check out the comment that was added in 2012 by someone who grew up in the house!

Tres magnifique! Love this place. Just wish I could afford it or something like it! :) Nice symmetrical shot, too! Gotta give you credit for getting out in the cold and snow to take pictures! Merci!

Marvelous place! Love the room set at an angle to the rest of the house.

A nice place to roam around it, but I wouldn't want to have to clean it!

It's a beautiful house and it looks very stately as well as inviting.

Gosh how exciting to get a comment from the occupants Pat.. I can just imagine inside now with those beautiful hardwood floors, so much better than carpet.

A house that looks grand in all weather, and it's always nice when someone pops up with a comment who has a direct link to a picture you post!

It is a beauty, RedPat, and, yes, the snow sets it off nicely.
