Words On A Fence

The philosophy of Calvin & Hobbes as found on a fence along Graffiti Lane near the cold elephant from Monday's post. There always seemed to be words of wisdom in that comic strip!

The two characters have been my favorites for years. Interestingly, I've found that time seems to go faster and I have less of it now that I've retired! Go figure!

Very well framed... and said!

Wise words, I totally agree with this quote! ;-)

I'm retired. When I get up in the morning I have nothing to do. By the time the day is over I have half of it done.

A great 'likeness' of the original series.

It seems funny but it is very true.

Sometimes it's true, sometimes it isn't... Cool find though!

The great philosophers of our time.

I miss that strip, but the cartoonist decided to go out on a winning streak and not overstay things (Hi and Lois, Family Circus, I'm looking at you)...

I thought this would no longer be true once I retired, but now I find that it is even more true than ever.

My daughter absolutely loved Calvin & Hobbes. I haven't thought about them since she moved out of the house, until today.
