I've always liked this house which is located just north of Casa Loma and the magnolia tree added such a nice touch, so here it is. It's interesting how their garage has been built into the hill.
The June theme for the City Daily Photo group is "Zest".

I can see why you like it! It is so unusual and very charming. I wonder if there is a way to get in the house from the garage without going outside.
wow! very unique! i like the curving stairs, too!
How sweet it is! I can only imagine what this place would cost! Love everything about it. Actually, it reminds me of some homes in Duluth, Minnesota, which is built on the side of a hill. I'll bet that garage is dark and dank, though! :)
Pretty house indeed and I also like the yard's different layers.
Neat home. I had the same thought as Lois. That would make it ever so nice.
It's a grand estate. I too wonder if you can get into the house from inside the garage.
It is a beautiful home with lots of details and plenty of windows to let in the light.
Plenty of windows from which to look out on the pretty landscaping, too.
It's a great use of space but that means that you have to carry heavy stuff up when you've done your shopping... Love the green house, the tree beginning to green and of course, the magnolia!
Lovely house!
It's very pretty. I'm surprised to see that it would not be out of place in some parts of Australia.
Gorgeous place. I hope the garage connects with the basement.
Beautiful photo.

Judging by the Bat Cave entrance it must be the Wayne Manor. ;-)
I love that garage!
It is a beautiful house, almost the kind we call "Tudor" around here. But, that garage?

Agree with above it's a lovely house Pat, I like the stairs, can you imagine how good they would be for the derriere going up and down every day :)
