Festive City Hall

The PanAm Games are taking place here and along with the athletics there is a large cultural side to the event and our City Hall is one of the prime entertainment locations. Three very colourful stages have been set up in the square in front of the hall as well as this large TORONTO sign which lights up at night. These pics were taken early last Sunday morning when it was quiet but each day hundreds of people gather for concerts and fireworks in the evening.

That might be a bit too crowded to me, but I like the morning view!

That's a great looking building, I remember visiting it back in December 1990!

Terrific! Toronto should leave this big sign after the celebrations are over. It looks good.

One of the fringe benefits of living in a big city.

Color definitely adds to the scene.

I'm sad that I'm missing out on the festivities. I've been following the game though. Seems they're going really well.
