So Elegant

I took this shot in the fall of this elegant statue in the fall but somehow never used it. She stands in a small pool that empties into a lower pool and provides a bit of peace along a busy roadway.

She is quite lovely, and I can just imagine how pretty it all is there. I like the hint of autumn leaves too, it makes the time well!

She is definitely elegant. This is such a well composed capture. Thanks for the kind things you had to say about the old homeplace. It is between 105 and 110 years old so inside the rooms are all chopped up and the plaster needs to be totally replaced. It needs so much done that we simply cannot afford to do. It is a shame and upsets me terribly, but it is what it is. I love it out here, and hope we will be able to take care of it well enough that the children will be able to enjoy it when we are gone.
