Down By The Riverside

I was down along the Humber River last week and it was looking quite peaceful on a late summer day. We have had little rain this summer so the water level is quite low compared to normal. This shot was taken right in the middle of the city - a bit of an escape from the noisy traffic!

It's great to have these little quiet spots in the middle of a busy city.

In the middle of the city? Which city? I don't see any city, this is in the middle of the woods :)
In earnest, it's a very nice picture of a calm place, Pat !

Quite the opposite here where water levels have been relatively high all summer.

Appearances can be deceiving. It's been quite dry here as well.

The river water levels get really low in summer here too Pat. What a delightful space in the middle of the city.
