For many years I have gone down to the staging area of the Santa Claus Parade to get shots of the floats before the parade begins. We have had no parade for the last 2 years so I have dug into my archives to find a shot from a few years ago. The toys are on the train and are on their way to the kids who have been good. During the parade little kids would be sitting on those stools along the side of the float.

What a great float! It's a shame that this event has been cancelled the last two years. We are missing so many fun things.

This is a fun one!
Naples had a Christmas parade this year but I didn't go to it. Christmas has always seemed like an odd time for a parade.
How fun and it's wonderful that your city has a winter parade too!
