Construction Continues

 

I've been following the conversion of this church on Bloor St into condos for a few years (see HERE) and went by the backside of it to see what was happening there. There is nothing but the facade left and 2 towers with most of the previous interior parts of the facade clad in plastic. It certainly looks like completion is a long way off.

It is said that cranes are signs of progress in a city. I am not sure, but they are signs of prosperity.

It does look like it won't be done for a long time. It's interesting how long some projects take while others seem to go up in a flash.

Wow, there is not much left of this downtown church. Your photo shows the congestion of a major urban renewal project.

Construction is the theme for the cities. We have one building here in town that is just beginning to undergo a transformation.
