I love seeing bees at work. You posted a fine bee portrait. Bees are the most common livestock in our state with a quarter million bee hives producing about 12 million pounds of honey.
Great capture! I mainly saw nasty, aggressive wasps... But I learned not to run away anymore... Bees Ii sadly saw few - great you provide for them (here but one flower flowered, it was a weird "summer").

Just cut our Joe Pye down because they were withered and the bees have left.
