I am back to my archives for this pic of the ducks at James Gardens. I haven't been to visit them all winter but it will soon be time for an excursion to see how they have weathered this winter.

Every day is a new adventure for them. Such a joy to see.
I always enjoy seeing ducks swimming about. Very little of our ice has melted so our lakes and ponds are still frozen, but that may change this next week with a warming trend. Then we will see more water foul.
We are hoping for ducks soon!
Of course, we'll need the lakes and rivers to melt!
I hope those ducks found a way to stay warm this winter.
I know you are looking forward to going back soon. Love these colorful ducks!
Ducks are always such a joy to watch, and James Gardens must be a beautiful spot to see them! It’ll be exciting to visit again and see how they’ve fared through the winter. Nature always has a way of surprising us with its resilience.
I hope you are having a great weekend. You are invited to read my new post: (https://www.melodyjacob.com/2025/03/the-breathtaking-adventures-we-had-in-glencoe.html) Thank you.
The Mallards are pretty, especially the colorful male.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your critter post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
It's great you're back! They are lovely birds.
Nice capture of these beautiful ducks.
We have a few mallards on the canal. There used to be a lot more but the geese have pushed them away.
Reminds me of a pair I just saw in a pond near me. First time I've spotted them there. Spring? :-)
Such lovely critters.
They seem so lively
A splendid shot.
That's a nice picture. Thanks for sharing it. Pat
I saw ducks in the city the other day!
