Parkdale Bike Stands 6
I thought I would show some more of the Parkdale bike stands since there are more than 20 of them (although 4 are identical to each other). It is interesting how they decide to leave some of them to rust for a different effect rather than galvanizing the whole thing - this guitar seems to have stainless steel strings to go with its rusty frame. It is never too cold to stand out and have a cigarette!

They are some hard core smokers. if you look at the front cog on the bike it gives the bottom the guitar strings a really good shape.
They are well cool !
Very unique bike stand. Got nothing like that here! Hey, when you gotta have a smoke, you gotta have a smoke. I used to be one of those people. It's a tough addiction to break! :-)
I often think about your fancy Toronto bike stands as I chain my bike to a boring old regular stand every morning. It would get the day off to a good start to hitch up to a lightbulb, streetlight, even a giant cigarette lighter!
I agree with Shaun - that is a serendipitous placing of the front cog.
Nice one Red Pat!
If I was still a smoker, I'd be outside smoking with these two. But I could have a hot coffee. I've had my bike stolen a few times so being outside watching my bike would be best. I like the stand..very nice. =)
What fun, I noticed the placement of the bike's front cog very first thing. Love the stainless steel versus the rust.
The bikes cog is placed perfectly. As for smokers, now that they are shunned to the outside, they ruin our wonderful air. I smoked a very long time ago and now know my mother was not pulling my leg when she said she could smell the smoke on me....
Another great bike stand, Pat. Thanks for documenting these for us, they are very interesting.
Smokers, bleeeeuccch!
It is so much fun traipsing around Toronto with you in search of these artistic bike stands.
Nice guitar!
You're so lucky, you live in a very charming city! Music and bike stand is a good combination!
I'm in Lima on vacation, so I'll have plenty of time for taking pictures. ;-)
This makes me wonder if there might be a music store near by.
These unique bike stands certainly add a bit of whimsy to everyday life Red, great find!
This one is really cute!
What a great collection of bike stand shots!
P.S. It's ceramic bees on my yesterday post.
I like the rust but I'm sure a few people will not feel the way I do. :)
I must express my thanks to this writer for rescuing me from this type of challenge. Right after browsing throughout the the net and obtaining things which were not powerful, I thought my entire life was well over. Being alive devoid of the approaches to the difficulties you've fixed as a result of this guideline is a critical case, as well as the kind that could have in a wrong way damaged my career if I hadn't discovered the blog. Your primary know-how and kindness in maneuvering every aspect was useful. I am not sure what I would have done if I hadn't come across such a thing like this. I'm able to now look forward to my future. Thank you so much for this professional and amazing guide. I won't think twice to refer your site to any person who will need support on this topic.
