This is the next door neighbour of The Shanghai Cowgirl from yesterday! You have to enlarge this one to see all the strange details of the front of The Bovine Sex Club which is a bar that has been here on Queen St West since 1991. It is known mainly as a place to hear punk, rock, rockabilly, and alternative music. The front artwork was done by Dave Greiveson and Great Bob Scott and has survived pretty well intact for all those years with its mixture of found objects. I have never been inside and probably never will!
I am still playing with the new blogger and am trying smaller type today. I hate change! I don't like it so small and I think I will go back to large tomorrow.

That looks like a fun place to listen to some interesting music!
That's an odd name for a bar/club. But I guess people don't forget it! :)
Cool place! and very cool shot :)
Hi Pat. You can go to the designer and increase the size of your blog very easily which would allow you to post larger pictures, choose other backgrounds, different colors, different size fonts, etc.
Email me if you're not familiar with such things and wish to make a change (for the better!). :-)
This is the Bovine Sex Club? What a name. That would turn me off right away. I have to admit, though, that all that trash is eye-catching. Looks rather like someone took part of a junkyard and threw them at the building and left the ones that stuck! :-)
How how random but interesting at the same time. Nice shot. =)
A strange place indeed! Maybe a GREEN way to recycle, reduce and reuse some old stuff?!
Totally cool front, but I am with you and Lowell, probably not going to walk into the Bovine Sex Club without a real good reason :-).
And those folks in front aren't even giving it a glance! I don't think I could tear my eyes away.
It's certainly eye-catching, Pat! But the name??!!! One has to laugh...
PS: Agree with you about blogger's changes. And I miss the dashboard view with all my blogs summarised :-(
Lots of objects in this piece, I especially like the dog that squeezed into the photo!
The artist really likes bikes!
Like yesterday, the place has a weird name. ;-)
Definitely different!
I don't think this would entice me to go inside but, I don't think it was actually designed to entice someone in my age group.
OMG that's insane Pat!! Looks like they had a twister and everything nearby was flung up on the wall, in a strange sort of way i kind of like it! The name made me laugh!
I cannot see myself entering this club.:))
Ah, now this one I have seen many times! I have a few pics, but all have some vehicle in front.
Very creative to say the least.
It's quite eye catching, isn't it?! Looks really cool. Well captured, Pat!
