Late Winter Afternoon

It was just before sunset when I took this pic and I was hoping for some colour in the winter sky but had no luck. There was just a hint of pink as the sky turned dark and the snow-covered roofs disappeared into the night.

A wonderful close of day image, time to draw the curtains and cosy down for the evening!

soft and still winter.

It's still a nice shot and there's just enough color to offer some hope for the future! :)

This time of year we might all just shoot b&w photos. I do like the muted tones in your picture.

I like seeing the clouds and sky through the bare branches of the trees. Most of our trees keep at least some of their leaves throughout the winter here.

That does look like a winter sky.

We don't get much colour either, but I love everything covered in snow.
