Lunch Crowd

There seem to be a lot of Goldfinches around the city this year and this feeder is a favourite luncheon place for them. The sparrow in the foreground was just landing so is a bit out of focus and I think she may have to wait a bit for a turn!

I think Goldfinches are one of the prettiest birds in the world. Of course, I like most anything that is gold! :)

I've seen quite a lot of them down here too!

If that feeder if filled with Niger thistle seed, the sparrow will have to wait some time. Gold finches are so lovely to see,

Bird photography is difficult but you got a great profile in the middle.

Such lovely goldfinches! I don't have a feeder they come to, so I have to try and chase them around.
