This would have been perfect for St Patrick's Day but it had passed when I took this pic at James Gardens. It's amazing how those green heads of the Mallards glowed in the sun!

Perfect shot for St. Paddy's Day, I agree. What an interesting and colourful shot! Those ducks seem to be unafraid of humans or perhaps they are attracted by the child's bright pink jacket!! What a fun photo!!
SWEET, P!
That would have been perfect. Those green feathers look like they are almost illuminated.
Wonderful!
Have a great week-end!
Their heads do seem to shimmer. Makes them stand out more to the lady ducks.
I agree with William. The shiny green is there to attract the lady ducks. ;)
Fantastic photo, Pat! Their shiny green heads are awesome!
Their shiny green heads are cool. Great capture with the woman and child feeding the ducks.
That's wild! I've never seen so many mallards in one place! Looks like feeding time. Great shot!
...WOW, what a flock!
